In Custom Scan Settings/Various Settings section, you first need to ensure that you in the Title Formats drop list have selected either CUSTOMSCAN_CUSTOMTAG_PERFORMER or CUSTOMSCAN_MIXEDTAG_PERFORMER. If you run both Mixed Tag and Custom Tag scanning modules in Custom Scan it doesn't matter which one you use, but if you only run the Custom Tag scanning module you need to select CUSTOMSCAN_CUSTOMTAG_PERFORMER.
After this, you should be able to use: <itemformatdata>TRACKNUM. TITLE (ARTIST, CUSTOMSCAN_CUSTOMTAG_PERFORMER - DURATION)</itemformatdata> or <itemformatdata>TRACKNUM. TITLE (ARTIST, CUSTOMSCAN_MIXEDTAG_PERFORMER - DURATION)</itemformatdata> The reason it works with COMPOSER is because COMPOSER is scanned by standard SBS/LMS scanner and not by Custom Scan.
