Thanks for the pointer, Triode.  I hadn't looked into the available
options.  Turns out I just needed to select a specific device with -o. 
I don't know why it suddenly stopped detecting my device properly.  I
definitely have the correct device marked as "default" in Windows.  All
is working well now with the -o option.
