For those with Raspberry Pi devices where this still doesn't work, the problem might be that support for ALSA sound is not included as default e.g. RaspBMC 1.0 ALSA sound was not enabled by default in early OS releases on RPi because it occasionally caused crashes. Things have improved since then so you can try by logging into the system and enabling ALSA by typing: sudo modprobe snd-bcm2835
Do not reboot at this stage If that command makes things work for you (when you next run XSqueeze - be patient because it can take quite a long time to bring up the UI) then you can make the change permanent (at least until the next update to device) by typing: sudo echo "snd-bcm2835" >> /etc/modules ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Paul Webster's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=105 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=93544 _______________________________________________ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
