Hi, I hope this is the right place about to ask about my problem, and I'm also sorry if this problem has come up before! I searched but became lost is many many threads, and a more specific search term yielded no results.
Basically, I have a separate access point for my 3 squeezebox's. My laptop connects by ethernet to the access point (a WRT54GS running DD-wrt) which connects to the squeezebox's. It also connects to my home's router over wifi, this provides the internet connection. I can stream music from my hard drive to the squeezebox fine, and I can also control it from my phone even when the phone is connected to the wifi for the internet, not the access point for the squeezeboxes. My problem is I cannot stream spotify to my squeezeboxes. With a normal setup, unlike mine, spotify streams fine. The test app fails at "unable to connect to player." This does not seem to be a problem with my firewall as when I turned it off it still failed. I can browse songs on Spotify fine from my squeezebox's, and it also loads up the cover art, however it does not play what so ever!
