The point with albumartist tag vs artist tag is the the list gets very Long and cluttered with all artists deepening on how you tag .
Some people use AA for the main artist on the record and actually fill in all guests ,collaborators and the kitchen sink in the artist tags and as LMS supports multiple artist tags it easy to go this route . To compound this LMS has its own internal,logic to how to populate it s artist list all user don't agree with it.
