I use Logitech Media Server (7.7.2 - r33893) on Ubuntu 12.04. CDPlayer plugin is version 1.08_7.3a. I modified access rights for /dev/cdrom and added user 'squeezeboxserver' to group cdrom. Now I get the track listing, but playing songs doesn't work. Even the time doesn't advance. I used icedax with my own user account to extract a track successfully. Next test would be to switch to user 'squeezeboxserver' and try the same thing.
But what is the password for this user?
