Triode, Uninstall pluggin, enable additional repository, install pluggin 2.2.15test, reboot server, and try to set the password : it worked! I forgot to enable the loggin, so I enabled it, then change to a bad password and back to the correct password. Still works. Here is the log :

It worked! I changed to a wrong password and get back to the correct one. It worked (log below). It looks that just changing to the test version made some difference. Would it be possible that there is a problem with the versions shipped with the squeezeserver ? I think the problem is real as many user experienced it and not really fixed, BUT now I am happy ;-) Thanks very much for your help!!! (BTW, do you know if there is a way to retrieve the Spotify Library - this is the best feature of your pluggin and I had a lost of artists/records stored them but I lost them when reinstalling the server. However I kep the old spotifyd.prefs file so maybe they are stored there ?)
