One thing: when that happens the next time, could you check whether a player is selected (active) in iPeng?
Main menus for the Squeezebox are player-dependent, so a player needs to be selected for them to be loaded. iPeng tries to use the player that was active when you left it and to assure that, it allows for an extended time to start up if the active player is iPeng itself. The reason for this is that sometimes it can take a while that the server detects and reports a newly connected player and I don't want to switch it away just because it took a while to get it reported. This is especially true if a server switch is involved. Other than that, iPeng now has a pretty robust retry code in place. There is a certain condition that can cause loading the menu to be delayed by one iteration but that's 15s, no more. --- learn more about iPeng, the iPhone and iPad remote for the Squeezebox and *New: Logitech UE Smart Radio* as well as iPeng Party, the free Party-App, at penguinlovesmusic.com ------------------------------------------------------------------------ pippin's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=13777 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=51929 _______________________________________________ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
