Couple updates ... 

I put another wi-fi router in to see if that would fix the connection
issue.  

Didn't fix this issue ... Instead of "invalid client ID" error, I get
"cannot connect to server" error.  Connection lasts less than 5
minutes.

I fear it isn't a "wi fi" issue, but a "router" issue ... I had to leave
the original router "in the mix" as it has two coax connections to the
TV settop boxes and provides VOD and channel guide services via the
router.

It may be a DNS issue ... I'm gonna try and use IP address instead of
name.

The UE thing went away once the Internet was back for a whole day ...
will try and force it to happen wednesday as the techs will be here and
we will be without external IP service for hours ...
