Ok, I see your point. I think I was looking at the wrong change all the time: you don't care about the favorites menu now being split into tracks/artists/albums, but about the change to put album and artist names on two lines instead of one, causing the sort order to change? I'm sorry, I would still disagree that this was a step backwards. Before that change I often would not have seen the album name without waiting for the UI to start scrolling.
