The usual answer: please send me a diagnostics mail from both iPeng 7 when it won't connect and the old iPeng as it does. Also, are you using MySqueezebox.com, too? If so, please be aware that you have to register the iPad with iPeng 7 again since iOS 7 uses a different identifier for the device.
