OK, by now I think the problem is most probably because of a change introduced in iTunes9.
What I've figured out is that the following key in "iTunes Music Library.xml": <key>Music Folder</key><string>file://localhost/Users/marti/Music/iTunes/iTunes%20Media/</string> Should be understood as "Media folder" when iTunes organizes media library.
