To debug this, there several areas to check. (1) Is direct ALSA playback working as expected on your system? (2) Is playback via pulseaudio working? (3) Has the "squeezelite" package been correctly installed and correctly configured? (4) What audio data is being played from LMS, is resampling involved etc.?
(1) Test with something like "aplay -v -D hw;CARD=PCM2702,DEV=0 test.wav" - you will need WAV format audio file. (2) Test using default mediaplayer on Ubuntu desktop and use mixer to select audio device and sound level. In other words, can you get sound out of your system via standard audio apps? (3) It would appear it has been installed OK and made the system start/stop links. At this point I would revert to using "SL_SOUNDCARD="front:CARD=PCM2702,DEV=0" in /etc/default/squeezelite. Make sure no instance of squeezelite is already running. Then start an instance manually with debug and logging on with, for example: squeezelite -o front:CARD=PCM2702,DEV=0 -n Z210 -a :::0 -s 192.168.1.122 -d all=debug ~/squeezelite.log Control-c to stop squeezelite after a brief period and check contents of ~/squeezelite.log Post beginning of log contents. Other questions to answer are, what's playing on your LMS when this happens, and what versions of LMS amd squeezelite are you using? ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Krisbee's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=59080 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=101436 _______________________________________________ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
