Please make sure you're running the latest 7.9 build. There was an issue in some of last week's builds which would cause update failures on some systems. I think I had the latest build so I focussed on your second comment. Oh, SSOTS... latest 7.9 probably won't help. You'll have to patch SSOTS. Please check last weeks postings about SSODS and 7.9.
