I'm mulling over using this on a Win 8.1 tablet like the Toshiba Encore or Dell Venue Pro line (full Win not RT) and was wondering if anyone had any luck with WASAPI out and Squeezelite via USB to an MDAC? It should be bit perfect if it all works and the Atom CPUs in these (Id stick to Atom vs. i3 so its fanless) can keep up. Since they have a small 8" screen they might make for a good touch replacement.
Im happy enough now with iPeng on an iPad and a digital dock using coax out to the MDAC but Id really like to USB volume control so I could just a controller app on a phone vs. using the MDAC remote for the volume.
