oddly enough. After rebooting the PC and restarting everything, now
squeezelite shows up as a player with options. Yes, I had given it a
name (-n) and assigned a MAC address (-m). Have the play when server
ticked. I hadn't used the -r, but I'll try that now too (although all
working!).  Could you explain a bit more what the implications of the -r
option is? thanks.
