Well, iTunes does similar things. My problem usually is when the information in these databases is bad, first, I want an App that shows me the different alternatives found BEFORE I apply the tags and let's me select one (iTunes lists the, but only a summary line). Does abcde do that? And the I want to be able to easily apply bulk editing, like setting a CD number, an album artist and the like. iTunes generally does that but sometimes uses their own library defaults in what they show which lures one into thinking the tags would be correct when they are really not.
