socketwrapper will not be used when playing to Radio and Touch unless
youhave non standard settings.
You should revert back to original socketwrapper to ensure your
installation is standard.

To track the BBCiPlayer problem you should enable logging
plugin.bbciplayer.hls to info and see if any error is logged 

You may have an issue with the squeeze2uPNP plugin and logging should be
enable for it to discover if the breakdown originating on the
squeeze2upnp "devices".
