There is a potential loophole when doing raw PCM. Normally a player tells a list of its capability in a format of channel, samples size and sample rate. and then I try to match with the stream info provided by LMS when I receive a play request. This is only the case for PCM as the format is not self-descriptive. But some players do not report the sample_rate in the capabilities, so I cannot find an exact match. I choose a while ago to try and see, but the result is that the player does not know really the sample rate of the stream so it will play anyway but potentially at the wrong rate, hence the pitch factor. You can reproduce that with xbmc easily LMS 7.7.2 - 5 radio, 3 Boom, 4 Duet, 1 Touch, 1 SB2.
