This relies on somebody being told about the pop up stations ( did anybody ask for the Eurovision popup station ?) and having to update files. The hard part is finding out the URL before it starts broadcasting. An alternative approach would be to process the vendor feed of station URLs http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio/imda/imda_transports.xml which would result in a very comprehensive menu of all supported live station formats combinations but it would be self maintaining as long as BBC keep the feed up to date.
