Try this save a normaly created playlist with LMS web UI . Does it appear in your assigned playlist folder ? If you then consequently add to that playlist via the plugin does it change ?
If this does not work there might be a permission issue the playlist folder can not be read only it must be writable for LMS . ( or everyone ,depending how security minded you are ...)
