Stefen, today I made a new image for a rpi2 with the intent of using my Northstar Essencio as a player again.
I completed the choice in the Raspberry Settings, rebooted and went to Audioplayer but the dac is not listed as an output. Checked the kernel version and did an update/upgrade, but it is still: > Linux max2play 4.1.13-v7+ #826 SMP PREEMPT Fri Nov 13 20:19:03 GMT 2015 > armv7l GNU/Linux. Earlier I had spent time with my Odroid C1+ trying to get it to recognise the same DAC (I tried both versions for the C!+ and neither worked). Any suggestions, instructions for either the pi or C1+.
