IMHO, that tells the plugin to listen on that IP address, but unfortunately does not configure the spotifiyd to play to that IP address. That is what I figured out: the plugin opens a listening port on the SBs IP:Configured Port, but that spotifyd always looks on 127.0.0.1:configured Port. I could no try some kind of weird port forwarding. Phew.
