The state machine seems a bit complex, however with dev-5 I was able to get an automatic silent start. It is not so easy, I am also getting start at normal volume after a pause/restart. I *think* the key is in the LMS player power state alone. LMS remembers the player power state and it is potentially desynced with device state.
I have set the LMS player to "stop at power off/remain stopped at power on" for my Zipp, I don't know how to tell the server "don't mess with it" any more than that. Yet still upon bridge or device restarts both power and play states are a bit fuzzy... I need to sit down and record scenarios/states.
