Just to add a bit more info to Slartibartfast's findings. If you select BBC Radio 2 from the 'Tunein Radio' app in My Apps the stream will be a 128 mp3. But if you select under Radio>Local>National Networks>Explore UK National>BBC>Stations(7)>BBC Radio 2 the stream is an Apple HLS stream. It doesn't state the bitrate though. I'm in the UK with Play HLS installed on a Win 7 machine and LMS 7.9.0 - 1475786002.
