seems like the obvious option is go linux. does anyone virtualize in
hyper V on windows10 a linux instance, or would that still ultimately
draw on windows subsystem components (maybe showing my VM ignorance
here) or maybe permanently switch this machine over to a pure play Linux
(which one?) would need to move my workflow of CD->Flac->musicip->Backup
to friends machine via internet mirroring s/w->scanner via LMS across
two machines, which I would like to avoid, but been there before so not
too bad.

shame, I actually like win10 otherwise.
