With the default theme (pluto-default-theme.jsp) if the user maximizes a
portlet, it only hides the other portlets and doesn't allow the portlet to grow
to the full width of the page. This has to do with the pluto.css definition
for portlets-left-column and portlets-right-column.
The portal driver probably needs to expose the PortalEnvironment or PortalURL
to the JSP so that it can determine if a portlet has been maximized and adjust
accordingly.
