What you are looking for is the bundled version (pluto-current-bundle.zip),
which includes the Pluto portal bundled in Tomcat. The binary version contains
a jar for the portlet container (pluto-container-1.1.0.jar) and all its
associated jars.
We should have something on the web site that explains the contents of the
release archives.
