Hi all I hope this is not considered spam... (shameless self-promotion)
I've been working on a student research project since last October. The larger topic were Portlets and Spring in a Portlet Environment. That's how I got to pluto and this mailing-list in the first place... One of the primary results of that project is a kickstart document. The document is a introduction to portlets and spring-portlet. It describes: - how portlets work - lots of my personal experiences from working with portlets - how spring-portlet works - some best practices - ... The document is, however, in *german only*... I also currently don't have the time to translate it on my own - but if someone is willing to do this, I'd be happy to put the translation onto my website too. There is also a source distribution of the demo-portlets I wrote during that project. The portlets also include a few spring utility-classes I contributed to SpringPortlet but weren't included so far. So it's not "vanilla" SpringPortlet everywhere. It's all Pluto-1.1 and Spring-2.0-M2. Feel free to have a look at it or contact me if you have any questions. http://www.swisstech.net/portlet Thanks for all the help I've received during the last months and good luck for the 1.1 release :-) - Patrick -- "I love deadlines.
