Hi Dev;

I too am bit new to Pluto. Used Pluto 1.0.1 a few years back and last week
downloaded and started using 1.1.0. Trying to get it working with WSRP.
1.1.0 is much better than 1.0.1 but the documentation is not complete yet.
So some stuff needs a bit of trial and error. Anyway I found the easiest way
to install pluto (with tomcat) is to download the pluto-current-bundle
(Provides Pluto and Tomcat bundled together. If you are getting started with
Pluto, this is the distribution you want). see
http://portals.apache.org/pluto/v11/getting-started.html for more details on
installing pluto. This page also has info on building pluto from source. To
build it from source u will first need to download and install maven. See
http://maven.apache.org/ for details on Maven.

Good luck

/Ramila
