Hi Julia

Yes, the default behavior is to average p-state residency between CPUs. 
The information is gathered through DTrace and kstats. There's a --cpu 
(or simply -c) option that will let you observe a specific processor.

Note that there's a bug in the p-state report (6829404), which will be 
fixed today. I can send you an updated binary once it goes back, if 
you'd like.
