Hi, good news. The PMU patches from Johannes Berg [1], which allow to suspend PMU machines via "echo mem > /sys/power/state", have been merged and will be in 2.6.25.
Imho we should prefer this interface now on PMU machines and only fall back to pm-pmu if it's not existent. The attached patch tries to do that. Please review. Should we set a date now, when pm-pmu will be deprecated and removed from pm-utils? How long should we keep it around? Cheers, Michael [1] http://git.kernel.org/?p=linux/kernel/git/torvalds/linux-2.6.git;a=commit;h=f91266edba3c6ef001819c5abe4c3a0643f66fc9 -- Why is it that all of the instruments seeking intelligent life in the universe are pointed away from Earth? _______________________________________________ Pm-utils mailing list [email protected] http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/pm-utils
