Version 1.0 of libx86 has been released. This release fixes the mapping of the ROM to be executable, avoiding failures on Linux 2.6.25 and higher. It also adds miscellaneous compatibility fixes to the x86emu code, including the ability to read high addresses. At this stage, it may be desirable to use the x86emu code even on 32-bit systems. The next release of libx86 will break compatibility by removing the mmap code. Client applications will need to do this themselves. The SONAME will be bumped to match.
