Alberto there was a small bug that did not set the current config as the selected one in the drop-down list. Change in mapselect.js line 41 var presel = key == PM.Map.config ? 'selected="selected"' : ''; to var presel = key == PM.config ? 'selected="selected"' : ''; and it should work. The patch is also committed to SVN.
