The test site for solving the generic PITS script problems may be found at:
http://helpcave.org/test/index.php?n=Main.HomePage
The Write and Upload passwords are "BugMe" without the quotes
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The only additional recipe running is wsplus.php
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The two bugs I know about are
1a) Select "new issue"
1b) Fill in the form
1c) Click "Submit new issue"
Result: The data on the form is not brought forward to the pmwiki Edit window

2) Once an active issue is generated it is not displayed in the (:pitslist:)
I created two items that should show as Active issues - Features in the two
http://helpcave.org/test/index.php?n=TestAA.00001
http://helpcave.org/test/index.php?n=TestZZ.00001
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
In the cookbook directory
pits-0.23.php is the original recipe
pits.php is the working recipe (my simple "fix"(?) is found on line 212/213)
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I've tried to keep the test system pretty generic (except for wsplus.php)
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I am sending the ftp access information by a separate email

Thanks!

Dave

I'm in Albania (Eastern Europe) so we're going to have a bit of a time difference.

I'm also in a bit of a time crunch with some other things, so I'll have to look at it on a catch-as-catch-can kind of time frame.

Go ahead and set it up and let me know (via this email - go ahead and keep it in this thread for ease of filing) where to go for the test field and how to access. If you can put the original file named pits.php.orig and the new one pits.php then I can see exactly what you've changed to fix the first error.

(If the script is not called pits.php then just let me know what it is called - I haven't had a chance to look at the cookbook page yet so I'm just assuming...)

Thank you for your interest in helping me.
I program in several languages but NOT PHP

I would be glad to set up a test field and give you ftp access!

    1) Do you want me to communicate with you through this email address?
    2) Do you want me to fix the one bug I knew how to fix? It was
(is) simply a mis-defined variable. I could leave the wrong(?) way
in as a comment if you like.
    3) The other two bugs (that I know about) are so easy to reproduce
that I don't understand how no one has yet reported them

    I am in Minnesota

Can you give me FTP access?
