Hmm... just to verify. If you execute:
$ emacs --eval '(pmwiki-open "Test/EditFromPmwiki-mode")'
you don't get any errors in *messages*?
Hmm... I just tested it (after doing CVS up) with Emacs 21.3.1 and I get
that error.
What if you start with a 'clean' Emacs, i.e. don't set author name etc?
