I found the instructions a little confusing -- the variables we need
to modify were "buried" in the reverse-order release notes -- I've
pulled them out.

I think you want  showitemdescr='false'

eg

(:pmfeed 
feed='http://newsrss.bbc.co.uk/rss/newsonline_world_edition/technology/rss.xml'
showitemdescr='false' max_count=5:)


That should leave just the link to the item. And only list 5 items.
