I edit the pages within a browser, which can be firefox/chrome under linux
or windows: it nis not clear how I choose/select  the charset (?)

Locally under linux, I always make sure to use utf-8 for my text file.

Do you advise me to download the content of wiki.d locally and convert  all
pages to utf-8?
