A new version of the recipe for creating EPUB output is available at http://www.pmwiki.org/wiki/Cookbook/EPUBCreation. This version does a better job of generating book frontmatter, including dedication, epigraph, about the author, ISBN, etc.
It also fixes a preg_replace /e modifier, missed in the previous release.
