I just received a note from someone who knows fare more than I do about
the race in Ohio and he says that Hackett was not as good a candidate as
thought by many on the left. He surprised everyone on the left when he
opposed the timeline for getting out of Iraq and Brown who he would have
opposed is far more progressive. Well, I stand corrected. It is far better
to get all the information before jumping to conclusions.
This person tells me that Brown is doing better in the polling and had
more money for the race than Hackett. He said that Brown will be the most
leftist Senator next to Sanders if they both win..
He also said Brown is a member of the Single Payer Action Network. I think
Hackett may have been a wolf in sheep's clothing.
So, with my friend, I
too am glad Hackett's out.
