"... The more I read about Hackett, the more I support Brown. Online libs
like Kos and Majikthise, who positively swoon over Hackett (they love a
man in a uniform, a la Gang of Four), are more about raising their
profiles and supposed political influence than about affecting real social
change. Bourgeois liberals like them at a time like this are making me, if
not a Marxist, then something awfully close. (Dennis)"
