I use to check prorev.com frequently, but as happens too often, whether
because of the urge to find conspiracies where there are none, or to
provide news/views that is unusual, though possibly wrong, the information
there became too unreliable and often even incredible and when I checked
out their sources too often the info was simply wrong or biased without
proof of anything except the agenda which drove it. So I stopped looking
there for anything useful. I'd rather go to the New Republic or Moment, or
National Geographic, Nature, Science, Dissent, New Left Review,
Monthly Review, Forward, Commentary and other publications.
I am not certain about this report because I have read other research
which would seem to support other conclusions. I don't think any of this
research is so conclusive that we could say unequivacably that Jews and
Palestinians are ALL from common ancestors beyond the claim that we all
are from common ancestors - which is true.
The claim made in this article seems nefarious and intended to drive the
results. I suggest reading more and looking at more of the recent research
-- which I suspect is more to the reason why the article was pulled from
the publication, it not being about censorship but about credibility.
For example where is the predominance of Tay Sachs among Palestinians?
There is none that I can find and I've looked. Maybe it exists but I can't
find any studies to point in that direction. More likely Palestinians are
what they appear to be by the research done by historians - Arabs from
many different tribes and areas and all of them coming together for
economic gain at one time or another in that region and many of them
having come after the Jews brought economic development to the area.
The risk of colon cancer is also higher among Ashkanazi Jews but does not
appear to be as high among Palestinians unless someone else can point me
to the literature which shows that it is. I've searched and I cannot find
any connection like that which exists among Jews.
