There is the very real threat of terrorism. It comes from U.S. colonialism
in American Samoa and in Puerto Rico and everywhere we have military bases.
But there is also the real cause for alarm from cultures where a person can
be executed for converting from Islam in Afghanistan. We did a good job
there where most of the world's opium is now raised. And terrorism is where
women are murdered to uphold the honor of a family after she has been raped.
George Bush thinks he can bring democracy to people like that? And who can
criticize Israel for living in that neighborhood and staying strong?
Terrorism is outsourcing jobs and putting a head of a family out of work and
cutting all assistance programs. That is terrorism. Terrorism is having a
great medical system which is only accessible to the rich and it is getting
that way. Who are we kidding? There is no democracy here and we are the
terrorists.
