Hank--
The more of these I see on the list the more I wonder. Is it perhaps
another form of attack? There are many who oppose any sort of
progressive thought--or any form of progress for that matter. Yet the
very opponents of such things as free speech, lacking the ability to
express themselves to a wide audience via the Internet, are wont to use
underhanded methods to pursue their insidious ends.
I would not be surprised to find such moral cowards using
denial-of-service attacks on the servers of a progressive list. Nor
would I be surprised if they sent list commands, in particular
"unsubscribe", to the list as a whole. These might be sent on behalf of
someone who really did want to unsubscribe, but quite possibly would
attempts to disrupt and discredit the list.
Much of what goes on these days is not what it appears to be. The "Big
Lie" is in vogue, and there is far less truth in news reports than in
most good fiction.
Hard to believe someone called "CowGirlCutie" would have ever joined the
list, anyway.
