As a citizen of the state of Florida I must say that I will vote against Jeb
Bu$h. Its bad enough to have King George II ! Indeed our forefathers fought
against the British King...we dont need a dynesty...Indeed I think a
Constitutional admendment should be proposed limiting a family to one president
per 2 generations.
This would mean in reality that if your father were president you or your
siblings could not run for president...but your children could. If your Uncle
were president you, your siblings and first cousins could not run for president
but your children, neices and nephews and second cousins could.
This would prevent the establishment of monachistic dynesties in our nation
which are detremental to representive democracy of our Constituional Republic.
Further more...I would propose the end of the electorial collage and the
establishment of manditory voting.
These are not perfect solutions but they would be great step in the
advancement of democracy in our nation.

Bush puts forward little brother for presidency

President George W. Bush said Wednesday that his younger brother Jeb would
make a "great president" setting off speculation that a third member of
the political dynasty could try for the White House.
Jeb Bush, who is the governor of Florida, said however that while he
appreciated the flattering comments, he has no intention now of running
for the top job.
President Bush told Florida journalists in an interview that his brother
was an "excellent leader".
"I think Jeb would be a great president. But it's up to Jeb to make a
decision to run," Bush said in comments published in several state
newspapers.
"I would like to see Jeb run at some point in time, but I have no idea if
that's his intention or not," said the president.
The Bush family is one of the pre-eminent US political dynasties. The
brothers father, George H.W. Bush, occupied the White House from 1988-92.
The president's paternal grandfather, Prescott Bush, was a Republican
senator representing Connecticut.
George H.W. Bush has already said he would support any White House bid by
Jeb.
But speaking in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, Jeb Bush said he had no current
plans to extend the Bush family presidential franchise.
"I love my brother. Those were very flattering comments," he said of the
president's remarks.
"But I am not running for president. I am not running for senator. I am
just trying to be a good governor," he said.
Jeb Bush's term as governor ends in January however. And President Bush
said he had not yet had a definitive response from his brother about his
political intentions.
The president said he had pushed his brother "fairly hard about what he
intends to do," but that Jeb refused to tip his hand.
"I have no idea what he's going to do. I've asked him that question
myself. I truly don't think he knows," Bush said.
George W. Bush said however, that his brother's "political future is very
bright -- if he chooses to have a political future."
