Oh, yes! How about microchips implanted at birth? That is my prediction. We
are putting in place all the accoutrements of totalitarianism. Warrantless
spying. Indeterminate detention with no probable cause. Torture. Tracking of
movements and communications of citizen -subjects.
How long do you estimate we have left before we are officially converted
into a dictatorship? I suppose they need some time to build detention
centers in every state. It is also my guess that one more bogus terror
attack is in order to ensure there will be no resistance and the public will
gleefully relinquish its civil liberties and human rights in favor of
"protection" and "safety."
Orwell missed it by a few years - but not by much.
