A quick update: The preferred support method is now the PNGwriter-users mailing list, and not the Forums. You can post to this list without being subscribed, but if you would like to subscribe, you can do so here:

Up until recently, the preferred method of support for the PNGwriter project were the Forums. These had several drawbacks. For example, I was not able to reply directly to a user's posting, and some replies were apparently never seen because the poster never went back to the forum. Also, they are not indexed by search engines, while the mailing list archives are. This meant that all the knowledge and hints that were being written in the forums were not reachable by people searching the web.

Also worth mentioning, the PNGwriter-users mailing list has been registered with the mail-archive.com. This is a free service designed to make mailing list archives more accessible.
Please note that both the lists.sourceforge.net and mail-archive.com archives are protected against spambots (addresses are not displayed beyond a few initial characters in the lists.sourceforge.net archives, and not displayed at all in the mail-archive.com archives).

A while ago another mailing list was created, PNGwriter-announce, a list-admin-only mailing list to announce new releases of PNGwriter. You can subscribe to this list here:
