This is just to inform you that PNGwriter version 0.5.3 has been released.
The changes in this release are as follows:
> Added get_text_width() and get_text_width_utf8(). This returns the width, in pixels, of the text if it were plotted. This width, used with the font size, can help estimate the actual dimensions of the plotted text. > Added new figures: arrow, cross, maltese cross and diamond. > Fixed a small mistake in a plot_text() error message.
