I'm new to the list. First of all, thank you for providing this wonderful library.
One feature that would widely increase the appeal of the library is the ability to import / export to jpeg.
In many cases, e.g. image processing the input image is in jpeg altough it is ok to save it in png. In other cases the the input image might be in jpeg/png but saving it in jpeg reduces the storage cost. Do you think it makes sense to provide this feature ? are there any plans for new features ?
