Hello list, to have some fun while working with my gis mapclient, i have build a cgi-programm to explore the Mandelbrot set. I'm not the great cpp programmer, but with the pngwriter-library and the cgic-library (from Boutell) I was able in short time to get something reasonable. Many thanks to the writer of the compile instructions for MSVC7!
The Mandelbrot set is equal a geographical map and so i use the Web Map Service (WMS) Specification to get the Mandelbrot set into my gis mapclient. Here I can pan, zoom in and zoom out. And to change some parameters for the Mandelbrot set, there is at the left-bottom of my mapclient a link "Mandel", which opens a new window with the changeable parameters. I would pleased, if you would have a look at this. http://www.programmableweb.com/url/5671 Mit freundlichen Grüßen Arnd Wippermann ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Take Surveys.
